Dash360 is a full project lifecycle application. From the day you enter your first task into your schedule to going into operational mode. And, after your estimate and schedule are complete and your project is kicked off, it’s time to begin collecting and tracking earned value.
We offer 5 different earned value types (EVT) including: Planning Package (PP), Level of Effort (LOE), Earned as Spent (EAS), % Complete and Milestone Weights % Complete. Assign these EVT types on each work package and then use our Admin area to Calculate Earned Value by reporting period for your entire project. Its a 1-click operation that takes seconds to complete.
Now that you have earned value calculated, you can use all of the fancy Dash360 reports to see the status of your project.
We have the Contract Performance Report (CPR) which allows you to easily see Schedule and Cost Variances on a period-by-period basis or cumulative to date (CTD). Also, collect Schedule & Cost Variances from your team directly on this report! Next, we have the Earned Value Curves that show you a beautiful line graph of your Budget, Earned and Actual cost classes on a monthly or yearly basis.

Project Explorer
The Dash360 Project Explorer allows you to see and modify all of the Resource Assignment data for your project.
This is the place to modify resource assignment data quickly and effortlessly.
View all of your resources in a month-over-month view. Make changes to any of the monthly data by simply clicking in a cell and adding a value. Updates are made automatically.
Group, sort, filter, add / remove columns and save all of your modifications into a custom view that can then be loaded later.
CPR
The Contract Performance Report (or CPR) is where you can see all of your earned value data in a specific reporting period. This is the report to get a quick understanding of where your project is at per period.
After running our Calculate Earned Value method from the Admin > Projects area, check out the CPR to see your projects Current Period and Cumulative to Data (CTD) values.
See your SPI and CPI values. Check out your BAC, Estimate and Variance at Complete. Zoom in on your Schedule and Cost Variance.
Also, the CPR is where your team will input variance narratives (more on that below).
Earned Value Curves
The Earned Value (EV) Curves report give you a quick overview of your cost data by reporting period.
See your budget, earned and actual costs graphed out in a simple line plot by period. You can filter this report by month and year.
Also drill in to just a specific WBS or reporting period. The report comes with all of the data you’ll need to quickly understand if your project is on track or behind.

RAM
The Responsibility Assignment Matrix (or RAM) is a pivot table that allows you to see the cross-section of your cost data by CAM (or project manager).
Like most reports in Dash360, you can group, filter, sort and add / remove columns from the report for it to suit your needs.
Then, save all of your changes off in a custom view. This custom view can then be loaded later so you always keep the report formatted the way you like it.
Finally, any team member can share a custom view with others on your team by using the import / export view capability.
Collect Variance Narratives
Are you still collecting variance narratives by spreadsheet and email? If so, you can stop now.
Using our Variance Narrative module, your team will enter their narratives directly into the CPR. Use the admin tool to setup variance thresholds that tell Dash360 when to highlight a variance for your team to enter a narrative on.
Then, your teams members see the red variance narrative in the CPR, click on it and enter their explanation. Once a CAM is done, they go to the Variance Narrative Report to send all of their change to their Admin. The Admin then has a report that can be exported out of Dash360 for easy use elsewhere.
Performance Index Report
Finally, we have the Performance Index Report.
This report allows you to see the Cost Performance Indicator (CPI) and the Schedule Performance Indicator (SPI) graphed out by reporting period.
View the data in monthly or yearly format by reporting period. There is also a nice table below that lets you see the SPI / CPI value by period.
This report also has a number of filters built-in to allow you to drill down including by WBS, Work Package, CAM, Start Date and End Date.
